Imperial Heart Surgery: Freshening the Motor, and Some Other Stuff
October 7, 2013: The motor spills its guts.
A few more parts have been coming out. Here's what we have now:

I think we may get that pesky oil leak yet. In case no one noticed, this has progressed to a complete rebuild of the motor. Ty says the cylinders look pretty good, though unsurprisingly it needs bearings. There's a fair amount of Stop Leak in the block, no doubt the result of a prior owner's attempt to replace a junk freeze plug without replacing it. The block is going to go for a bath in the hot tank next.
No mission creep here. Nosirree.
