EDD: I'm sure it's done by now.

This is one of two hard luck stories from the 2003 International Convention in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.    Ned's Corvair developed a knock 800 miles into the trip to Carlisle from Derby, Kansas.  It was then attached to Terry Kalp's "Corvair recovery vehicle" for the rest of the trip.  They arrived back in Kansas, Monday, July 21st.  The car entered the Group Red mode Tuesday night at Terry's shop.

Hopefully Ned fares better on his way to Lexington for the '04 Convention.

Ned's motor is so hot, he needs an electric fan to cool it.  OR:  the only known example of a Corvair motor with an electric fan.
