The Story: Bill sent me this lovely shot of the car up on seven jackstands, when he was refurbishing the brakes. This car was formerly owned by former astronaut and U.S. Senator John Glenn. In the background of two of the pictures you can see "Mr. Poop," Bill's 1964 sedan, also up on one jackstand. Bill's convertible is currently off jackstands and in daily driver status. The sedan remains up on one jackstand.

Bill has a lot of Corvair engine pictures posted in his on-line photo album, along with many other Corvair shots of things such as the internals of a blown Powerglide transmission, a sweet brake demonstrator Bill made, and several Tidewater Corvair Club events. It's definitely worth a look.
