The Story: This one was sent in by Terry Kalp:  "The Mid-Continent Corvair Association's 'Cold Tuna' (tune-up day) was a great success.  The star was the Red 1963 Monza convertible of VV member Jim Dallas of Towanda, Kansas.  Facing North and on jackstands at a little after 9 a.m., Saturday, February 28th, the red car's engine was dropped out, the front seal and a heater hose were replaced.  The engine was then returned to it's rightful place (in the rear) and the red car back on the ground ready to drive by 3 pm, Saturday February 28th.  Not a record, but one of the shorter stays in Group Red Zone."
